The recent winter weather has had a significant impact across our state and region, affecting many communities and families, including more than half of the students registered to attend our Honor Band Clinic. As recovery efforts will continue for some time, and in recognition of the challenges many families are currently facing, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this weekend’s Honor Band Clinic out of respect and sensitivity to those across our state that have been affected.
Seniors: we know that many of you have scheduled your audition for the FMB this weekend. Those auditions will continue on Friday for students who are able to travel to campus safely. For others, we will gladly reschedule at a later time. We’ll be reaching out shortly with additional information.
Thursday night’s concert by the Germantown High School Wind Ensemble has been cancelled. We are happy to announce that they have accepted our invitation to perform at next year’s clinic.
Friday night’s MSU Wind Ensemble concert has also been cancelled.
Refunds will be issued to all registered students. Please allow up to two weeks for this to take place.
